Gabriel J. Markiz, CPA, PC provides "Fee-Only" financial planning and investment management through our affiliate Portland Financial Advisors, Inc. (PFA) a licensed Registered Investment Advisor with the state of Oregon. PFA is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), a very exclusive group of financial advisors who have a fiduciary responsibility to their clients.
What does “Fee-Only” really mean?
Most other Certified Financial Planner™
Professionals earn commissions based on the products they sell you.
We are compensated solely by our clients, and do not receive any outside
inducements for recommending investments or financial products. Like a doctor or attorney, our fees are based on a flat rate. We disclose all fees up front.
What makes PFA qualified to give you financial advice?
The key partner is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA’s)
and Certified Financial Planner™ Professional (CFP’s). This dual
licensing gives PFA the advantage when it comes to planning and how it
impacts your taxes.
Unlike stock brokers, insurance agents, and many financial planners
PFA has a Fiduciary responsibility. As a Fiduciary, PFA adheres to a
Code of Ethics, and is required by State and Federal Law to act
solely in the best interest of our client.
What can PFA do for you?
By understanding your financial goals and the risks associated with your
unique situation, PFA is able to create and implement a strategic wealth
management plan that helps you make sound financial decisions and
increase your net worth.
